  • Recognizing high-frequency words (e.g., numbers, time, and family terms).
  • Exercises on word identification in short passages.
• Day 7: Reading for Context
  • Strategies for guessing the meaning of unknown words.
  • Focus on context clues in short stories or descriptions.
• Day 8: Sentence Expansion and Understanding
  • Reading longer sentences with conjunctions and modifiers.
